Many people have the common issue of nasty sounds from the z belt when moving the bed up and down and especially during the homing function when it rapidly cycles. Every cure I’ve read up to now only addresses the symptom and not the cause, so here is my simple solution after replacing my z tensioner.
The tensioner slides into a slot in the bottom housing that is very weak and has no reinforcement and this allows the tensioner to tilt off axis and cause the belt to ride up into the plastic housing. A simple piece of Bambu parts box cardboard flap is enough to take up the gap between the tensioner and adjacent motor housing inside the printer, to keep the alignment true.
