I have my H2d since Thursday this week and I am not that familiar with it yet.
Can someone please tell me whats causing the issue as seen on the picture attached?
The higher my print gets, the ugglier the Z noth gets
I printed one long and thin part without issue. From yesterday till today (24h) I had a print with a few long parts which all got uglier the higher they got.
I could not recognize any whoble from the printed parts. Why should they? As the bed is not moving back and forth.
Ah your issue lies in Nyalotha… sorry couldnt help it.
What do you mean Z noth? if you mean the notches/seams , its either a Pressure Advance issue, or scarf seams glitching as they always do
The strings indicate that it could also benefit from some drying. I’m assuming that the left side is the top and it’s increasing in circumference each layer. It could be an issue that it’s a top heavy not super well supported print, causing the nozzle to slightly shift the print each time it starts a layer at the seams, longer prints may also warp and become bigger/smaller over time, causing the same bumping/wobbling.
I would try variable layer height, drying the filament, increasing fan speed, lowering wall speeds, and if necessary a prime/purge tower.
Anyways… I will try printing two long parts at once and see if the same issue with the Z seam occur again. But with the ABS spool instead of the mostly used up PLA Charcoal Matte.
