X1C is a good printer , it has it quirks as every other 3D printer
Not sure in your case if that would help, but try this. a lot of people complained with issues after the last firmware update , for me after each FW update some issues
Factory reset, machine calibration
If that does not help, probably worth opening support ticket. They are not too quick but they do respond and try to be helpful
