I am a self-taught artist, painter and maker, born in Rome in 1958, I live and work in Pieve di Soligo (TV).
I have been dealing with the design and ergonomics of medical (ophthalmic) equipment for years, of which I have often designed the aesthetics but also the functional mechanisms. I own several patents for some of the ideas created. I know various CADs (Solidworks, Rinoceros, Blender…) but I prefer Autodesk’s Fusion of which I also use the CAM module. I have used 3D printing with 3DSystems, Stratasys, Markforged machines.
I deeply love painting, taking inspiration from the great masters of the 20th century, I love to range between the most disparate pictorial genres: mainly portraits but also landscapes, surreal situations, original still lifes or industrial environments.
Among the favorite artists: Felice Casorati, Giorgio De Chirico, Lucian Freud, Egon Schiele, Tamara De Lempiczka, Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, Vincent Van Gogh and many others. I prefer the oil on canvas technique although I frequently use graphic techniques, pastels, pencils and watercolours; I love large paintings and the use of sincere and dramatic color formulas. I love music, my great friend and muse.
