Now retired, but in my working life I was an Electronic Design Engineer, the last 40 years of which was spent working on some form of processor controlled automation - Automatic test Equipment, Cash dispensers, Audio-Video-Film synchronization systems, Audio mixing consoles through to Automated Broadcast transmission. My workshop contains a metal lathe and milling machine plus other bits , but since upgrading to a BambuLab P1P 3D printer in 2023 I’ve spent most of the time working on that. It gets used a lot for repairing household items and broken childrens toys.
