0.2mm Nozzle; Poor Tree Supports

I’ve had much success with the 0.4 nozzle and wanted to see if the .02 nozzle would make details finer on certain prints. I am struggling as I keep having tree supports turn into thin spaghetti but the model itself is printing perfectly.

In Bambu Studio I have set the nozzle and plate correct and chose .10mm Standard @BBLA1 0.2 Nozzle
I also ran the print at 100% speed and tried at 50% speed, same result.

What other settings should I be tweaking when I switch from .04 to .02?

Bambu studio also has different support types , perhaps you could change those ?

I don’t print with a .2 nozzle but you can try this or if using Orca slicer you have other settings for the tree settings you can change.

Bambu Lab Studio:
Support speed 70 mm/s
Line width 0.30

What filament you using ?

Keep us updated :v:

You can try with this:

I tried the standard (non-tree) and similar issue

Used Bambu Studio, with Bambu filament (PLA, Metal Green) but also tried PLA Basic black, same issue. Will try out tweaking those support settings and run again tomorrow

What about the non default style of grid / snug ? if grid are what i believe them to be ( linear ? ) normal manual / grid ?

Unidirectional (lines) will be quicker and easier to remove, although they may be less stable in tall parts, while bidirectional (grids) provide greater stability but may be more difficult to remove, especially in small holes. Density of the support: This is the ratio between empty space and material in the supports.
