I’ve been printing 0.6mm with P1S from the start and never done much with 0.4mm. After almost 900 trouble-free print time I bought a P1P and started printing PETG with stock 0.4 nozzle. It’s already partially clogged after just 52 hours of total print time. Is it normal for 0.4 nozzle?
The same Elegoo Rapid PETG has never clogged the 0.6mm in 300+ hours of printing.
You should check your temps and also if the filament/nozzle is clean of any debris.
its usually the filament being dirty when it comes to clogs. All filaments are dirty going into the extruder, dust falling on top of your spool can give your hot-end a gnarly clog if it builds up on the plastic… 52 hours sounds about right to be honest. Better brands of filaments are usually more expensive because they are cleaner too.
maybe its something else tho idk lol
It’s the filament, 90% of it was fine and last 10% was contaminated. eSun cleaning filament https://amzn.to/3yVPm7y works great, couple of cold pull from BL instruction cleaned it up nicely. Nozzle/Hotend Unclogging Procedure for X1 | Bambu Lab Wiki
