Using the new 1.9 BS Beta and unable to see the Reducing purge through retracting filament setting. ( 4. Reducing purge through retracting filament from the release notes) From the release notes video, it should be appearing under the extruder setting for the nozzle. I have advanced on and I don’t see the entire retraction when switching material section under which I should have the “Long retraction when cut” experimental check box. P1S with AMS. Any ideas?

Apparently you need to enable “develop mode” in global settings. After that, all advanced settings are enabled plus a few more (like this one).

I have enable Developer mode, but this option is disable. Why?

“Long retraction” is present here, though the other “Retraction when switching” parameters are not adjustable. Studio 2.0.2, developer mode, X1C, last printer preset entry under extruder:

Checking the box produces a clog warning and then provides a distance adjustment:
