Has anyone requested an exception to the 14 gift card per week limit? I have been saving up my exclusive points since the program started. I was waiting to see if I wanted to cash out or convert them to gift cards once the new flagship printer came out. Now that the price returned to normal, I’m back on the side of using them as gift cards. But it would take me over a month to convert them all in batches. On top of that my card redemption is under auto-review for a few days, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened another time or two over the next month or so. Just wondering if Bambu ever grants an exception for those intending to purchase right away. If not, I will continue to be patient.
The 14-card limit redemption is exactly accurate.
- It is (was) a limit of 6,998 points per week.
- Different countries can redeem gift cards with values based on currency that require different numbers of points for each country.
I spoke about this back in March.
The new process places people in the “sin bin” (my phrase) if the system believes there is a need to review the points earned.
This is NOT a reflection on the user, it happens to all of us.
If you redeem points into a gift card and you are placed in review, you can keep redeeming cards at the time of ordering the review process. All redeemed cards queued up will be reviewed at the same time, and provided all is well, released at the same time.
I have not seen an upper limit, it is nothing like the 6,998 points it used to be.
