The #2 First Stage Feeder is making all sorts of bad noises and won’t load filament properly. I have not seen anything in Wiki about if there is anything to be done to get the feeder to run, load, unload filament. Sounds like the gears are eating each other.
I took apart the AMS to make sure there was no filament hung up but the filament path is clean and clear from the AMS. The other slots feed/print with no trouble or noise.
Is there anything else to check that I may be missing or is it better to just buy a new first stage feeder drive
Mine is doing it only in the #1 slot. Everything works, but that #1 slot is the loudest.
Mine doesn’t work at all.
When I put a spool of Bambu filament in that slot and feed the filament into the funnel it starts chattering and the initial load/unload cycle fails to complete.
But whatever triggers those motors to turn on and off fails to turn off motor and it will just sit there making noise. I can bump the little pushpad that you push to load a slot and it will quit because no filament detected. Run filament in and it will start chattering.
I have done all I can see to do but maybe others have more insight. That slot is totally out of service right now.
