Ive got a potential print job that involves printing large segments 12KG in total of filament and some segments go over 2KG of PETG, I want to make sure these prints go smoothly because it involves a lot of plastic and time.
I have 0 experience with letting the printer run out of filament and having it do an auto continue to the next roll in the AMS. My plan is to load 4x PETG HF into the AMS.
Are there people here that have experience with this? I already saw something online about the tape at the end of the filament roll that could be a potential issue.
Any help and or suggestions would be great!
Thanks!
Sunlu PETG (it is a good filament) is on a plastic spool, and when it runs out on my AMS, it just carries on to the next spool and so on.
No tape is like Bambu spools. If you’re in the UK, you can get 4 or 5 and 10kg deals on black and white filament on Amazon from £40 for 4, £50 for 5, and about £100 for 10 kg.
