2nd AMS unit name

I bought a 2nd AMS for my Carbon. I followed their instructions. When I was done, it had named my original AMS unit B and the new one unit A. No big deal but I would prefer the names to be reversed. Does anyone know how to do this? Bard says it’s possible but it’s instructions must be out of date. I tried switching cables around but that didn’t work.

As far as I know, the naming depends on the order of attaching. The wiki contains an article about this: Connect AMS Hub and multi-AMS | Bambu Lab Wiki. Take a look at topic “AMS ID assignment”.

Hey thank you. That did the trick. I have to go thru the Wiki better before posting. You can reset the stored IDs of the units in the X1. And then plug them in to the X1 (while it is running) in the order you want them identified.
