So I had three strange errors all at once! Maybe it was a Boo curse ? See Pics
- This happened one time with an Ender S1 before I returned it. But I found the print never got going and instead I have a pile up of goo in one spot? Is this a code glitch or a machine glitch? I changed the model around just to re-slice with different numbers and it worked.
- I’ve printed multi-color twice. The first time no problems, and this time you see there is no problem with the pink, but with the black and white you can clearly see there is striping. The funny thing is it showed these stripes in the slicer but it didn’t flag my brain that it would be striped in real life. Wassup wit dat?
- Very strangely, this model used tree supports and most were fine. But oddly, right under the boo the support became a thick column of normal type supports. Did I do something to cause that?
Thanks team.
Hi clw.webster,
If you was using tree hybrid that is why your supports types was mixed look at your preview screen and check it out.
The black and white you will have to adjust your flushing volumes to a higher number.
The prime tower can also help with color bleeds so it another tool you can use as needed.
If your wall loops are to low you can also get color bleed with the flush into objects infill with light and dark colors so watch out for this also.
Happy 3D Printing
Thanks for the advice. It looks maybe like wall bleed. The color is uniform the whole way around and doesn’t quick look like it’s actually on the surface which is consistent with inner color bleed. Peace!
Did you have any input on the “slime pile” of filament? Appreciate the feedback.
If your tree supports had big overhangs on the top part this can make your tree supports fail.
I don’t have this Boo to test out but if I had to guess on settings looking @ your photo’s and the size.
I would go with something like this.
Tree support branch distance 2
Tree support diameter 4
Tree support wall loops 2
Base pattern spacing 2
This is some samples I did on another post for overhangs Tree Supports
Have a good one
