I’m not offended. Just telling you what I see in return.
I’ll offer this. If you have an old cool plate or a engineering plate you can remove the stickers from those. Before I decided, well needed, to buy a second kit I used the engineering plate. Both sides. Worked well enough. Not ideal but worked.
I appreciate your help and your alternatives, but I know the options I have. I came on here to voice my concerns in the hope others agreed and a solution is offered in the future.
Some people buy the plate and sticker with the intention of only using two as the other two are of no interest.
The cost of stickers isn’t anywhere near a sheet of metal.
BL gives a choice of four stickers and two sides of the plate for this reason.
There is a discount on a set of two as BL likely expects some people may want all four, so, you get two sheets to attach four stickers and a spare of each as they are consumable parts.
If they only sold four stickers and two plates, people who only wanted one or two designs would complain they have to buy an extra plate they don’t need.
I feel this is own area which BL get blamed by all sides and can’t win because people have different needs and those translate into different perspectives.
If someone offers options, they will always be someone who wants to improve it for their needs, this is perfectly fine, but, doesn’t make it easy to fulfill everyone’s expectations equally.
If Bambu would sell the plates and stickers individually we could have the correct number of plates and would not need to buy the patterns we do not want.
You don’t buy wheels and tyres for you car and get 2 wheels and 4 tyres then ask the garage what the deal is and they say you need to buy 2 bundles to get 4 wheels…
Packaged in cardboard, just like the plates, and just as they have done in the past when shipping cool and smooth PEI stickers. The cardboard is more rigid than the plate.
