Thank you Thank You Thank you All for your help! . Opening the authors model, then using the swap tool to swap their model with my STL worked!
Thanks again everyone! For solving this for me !
I have applied the wood grain to my model, but the print time increase was huge ! Is there a way to just apply the modifier to just the Outside of the model surface? ie: Just the outer walls of a Cylinder?
You are welcome.
That didn’t last long, just 15 minutes.
You could add another modifier to fit inside your model, but, not exceed the dimensions of the walls. Turn off the modified values set in the wood grain model.
This is the downside of this technique, it achieves the wood grain effect by adding significant extra details to the model.
It is a “you can’t have your cake and eat it feature”.
If you need the extra effects, you must live with the longer slicing and print time.
Perfect ! Thanks for your help !
You could probably try to add a second modifier inside that would prevent that area from having the extra walls.
Ciao a tutti, sono nuovo da queste parti, gran bel progetto, vorrei sapere come si elimina la ciotola senza eliminare il tronco del modificatore.
Grazie a tutti.
Modifiers cannot exist alone, there must be a model object in a composite. You can first combine the original model with your own model, which will result in a combination of three objects: a plate, a modifier, and the model you want to print. At this point, you can delete the plate.

I uploaded a video demonstrating how to add wood grain effects from scratch and introducing the principle of implementation. The video is dubbed in Chinese with English subtitles.
If you want a more convenient implementation, you can directly use my 3mf file and replace the plate model.
