Hello everyone.
I am an individual and I have been printing for myself only, for a little over a month. I am really surprised by the amount of waste that 3D printing produces. I dare not imagine on a country or world scale the tons of plastic lost in our waste!!
Is there no way to recycle all this??
You could launch your own recycling center for 3d printing leftovers, receiving this stuff from all over Switzerland and you might even get rich with that⦠perhaps even getting financial support from the cantonal authorities ā¦
abstractionism⦠he should go into abstract art and launch a 3D melting art gallery ⦠if people are ready to spend that amount of money on sn AI generated abstract āartā, theyād definitely buy his.
Having worked as an engineer at Philips consumer electronics in the past I can tell you that the amount of plastic you throw away is miniscule compared to the waste these type of factories haveā¦
unless gets sold on ebay, Aliexpress Amazon, and other places⦠then itās deemed as a profitable business and such concerns about the waste arenāt worth any further consideration anymore .
Malc, if he looks at them is because heās hooked by the beauty, design, cleverness, ingenuity⦠and loss of filament your makes entail. Congrats Malc, your first āpadawanā in a generation. Good job!
One thing i swore myself when i got my first Printer in 2018 is to not print dust collectors or just stupid random things thatāll entertain me for 5 minutes and then be thrown away in a few years.
Yeah, all good and well, and your idea aināt bad (totally)⦠the bad news is that Bezos aināt the Amazon head honcho anymore ⦠so you need to tailor yourself another approachā¦and another target CEO.
