4-in-1 PTFE Adapter between the filament buffer and printer PTFE inlet?

I have a P2S and two AMS2 Pro. Currently I have both connected directly to each of the inlets of the filament buffer and the outlet of this to the printer inlet.

I’m planning to add an AMS HT (just for TPU printing) to this setup. From the cable connection I have clear that the AMS HT should be the last one of the chain (after the two AMS2 Pro). However and with regards to PTFE Tube Connection I have some doubts after reading the Wiki.

In the Wiki at the PTFE Tube Connection for P2S it says:

“The filament buffer must be placed between the printer and each AMS. When using multiple AMS units, the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter must be connected between the AMS and the filament buffer. Do not reverse the connection”.

What does this “do not reverse the connection” refer to?

I was thinking on putting the 4-in-1 PTFE at the entry of the printer inlet in the back panel with one tube coming from the filament buffer output and another tube coming directly from the AMS HT.

Is this a recommended setup with the 4-in-1 PTFE after the filament buffer?

Apart from the TPU for AMS, can I use the AMS HT to feed using that config TPU 95A HF or is not recommended?

And what about using the TPU Feed Assist Module between the AMS HT and the 4-in-1? Will this setup help for TPU 95A HF. I would like to avoid, if possible, to feed the extruder directly without using the printer inlet.

You can’tconnect the powered output of the AMS HT directly to the printer. There always needs to be a buffer in between. But I think everything you want will work nicely.

I have almost the same setup but with the following routing:
2x AMS2 and 1x AMS HT go into AMS hub (or into 4in1 and buffer)
Between buffer and printer inlet, I have another 4in1.
Another tube goes from AMS HT auxiliary oulet in the lid to the second 4in1.
If you want to add the TPU assist module, you would out it in between the last connection.

Thanks for your reply… my main concern is if the TPU 95A HF filament can be feed avoiding the direct connection to the extruder.

Now just awaiting for Bambul Lab to have the HT and the feed assist in stock…

Just be sure the tubes have no real sharp(ish) bends in them. I’m on a week with support, day to day, trying to resolve an intermittent overload issue. I have 2 4way hubs and had to cut it down to either 0 or 1. Now have to reroute my setup. Just think about lengths.
