I own 9 Bambu printers and I go through probably around 50 spools a month. It doesn’t seem fair to me that someone who buys 1 printer can get 8 cheap spools a month while I can also only get 8. I would have been better off gaming the system and make 3 or 4 accounts. I would greatly appreciate it if Bambu would offer additional cheap spools based on how many printers are on your account.

True, didn’t think about that, but then again, it’s a subscription system? So is prime, maybe they need a leaf out of that book, you pay a subscription (or get a free period with a printer), I’m not limited to the number of next day deliveries, I just pay towards the delivery eco system that keeps the service afloat.
What about those of us that bought a printer threw one of there suppliers and cannot get the discount?
you are making some sense but @ryan_tidus is correct that it’s kind of silly that if he had made multiple accounts he’d now be getting 9 x the cheap filament.
I myself own 6, hadn’t even looked at the subscription yet but can’t say I’m happy to read that Bambu didn’t figure this out and just made it connect to each printer rather than an account.
It’s actually kind of shooting themselves in the foot as now I’ll just keep ordering from a 3rd party and not buy from Bambu at all.
edit: @silver118822 kind of silly as well. I would guess it’s a technical limitation at this time because I cannot come up with another good reason not to do this (unless they do it so that the resellers have a higher chance of selling filament instead of going directly to bambu).
Did you try to negotiate with their corporate group? Maybe start with their partner group.
I can say this, if you think like a retail customer and act like a retail customer, you will be treated like a retail customer. Even when I left my industry for a short time, if I wanted to buy wholesale, I simply used the jargon endemic to the industry and nobody ever questioned that I was buying with a credit card but I still got discounts as if I was a distributor.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people to expect 1 membership per machine. Just a silly move by Bambu or perhaps they don’t even realize.
Most of my machines aren’t for hobby usage and I already buy bulk elsewhere and as mentioned I won’t even look at the subscription now knowing it’s only 8 spools regardless.
