A couple of issues, any help would be awesome

So i’ve had this x1-c from christmas. Here’s one of my problems im having, mwhen I build something that I would say is complicated and it needs supports It never comes out. The supports are so hard to take off. I end up ruining the object Taking the supports off. What am I doing wrong? I mean, what’s the point of having the supports? So you can build something up in the air. But then when you take the support off. It rips the object with it because the object sometimes is very delicate.

Here’s my other question and issue. Bamboo labs is taking way too long with their warranty support. We only have 1 year warranty. And they’re taking two weeks to respond and most of the times are not even answering it correctly or doing something about it. I have nothing against bamboo lab. I have no idea who they are. I’m just somebody who purchased something from them And expect formthem to hold up their end of the agreement. Their excuse is they don’t have enough workers. That’s not my problem. I paid you. And when we endured in this relationship, there is a contract that says you give warranty support. And it has nothing to do with whether you have fifty workers or five thousand workers. Because of this issue. I feel like they should extend the warranty a couple of years. They’re are not giving the proper support!

I’m going to put a stop payment on my credit card just for the fact that it’s taken so long to get support. I would’ve never purchased this thing if I knew the support would be so horrible.

Hi! Well, I can certainly see why that’d be a mess to deal with, with how the supports look on that print. I’m not sure traditional supports would be suitable for that type of model, and I’d suggest looking into tree supports, as they’re more suited to models like I think you’re trying to print there, and should be easier to deal with/break away. Here’s a shot from Bambu studio! Just change the “Type” to “tree(auto)”. If you paint where you want supports manually, you’d do the manual version of either of those, depending on what style you wanted.

They probably give you support on the machine you bought from them. I don’t think it’s fair to expect they tell you how to print every model. The knowledge you need to print a model correct is something you need to gather from experience or from others.
If you buy an oven the producer also doesn’t give support if your cake tastes terrible.

I’m sorry I should have explained myself a little bit better in the actual topic. I’m not asking for help because of the design of the support and the actual file.

The help I was asking for is the lack of support from bamboo when it comes to actual issues with the printer. I have physical problems with the printer, 1 My display is very hard or I should say Not sensitive when it comes to pushing on it, so it takes like 3 or 4 clicks. 2 on that same display micro sd card is not formatting. I’ve been around computers my whole life. I think I know how to format a microSD I’ve done it on my pc and on the actual printer itself. And it’s not working. I’ve sent them log files and a picture of the error I get and I get crickets from them because they don’t have enough people working. That is the issue I’m talking about, not the The printing file.

I orginally had some issues with support but someone suggested I change the type of support filament. I use mainly PLA for my models so I now use PETG for the support interface. You can find several articles on the associated settings to go with that. However, since I have been using this combination, most of the time, the supports just peal off since PLA and PETG do not stick to each other well. If you print with PETG, then go the other way and use PLA as the interface support. I emphasize interface support - don’t use the support filament for the entire support, just the interface. Otherwise you will use way too many filament changes and waste the filament on purges.
Good luck.

A common point between those two problems is the display unit and it’s connector. It might be worth verifying the connection.
Also, the microSD must be formatted as FAT32.

If you have already investigated these points, you will need to wait for a response from Bambu support. They say they are trying to catch up on the backlog…
