I’ve seen a dip in stats across the board for me. Anyone experiencing that? Just curious if it was my niche or makerworld overall.
Dunno, but I have almost nothing over 3 days. I mean, like 60 view, 1 like, 1 download, 1 collection, 1 review.
That’s a drop even for me.
I’ve noticed things slow down a little over this past week. How long have you been feeling a dip?

I pointed this out yesterday.
It is all over the place at the moment.
It is almost as if there is some 7-day thing occurring that I am not allowed to talk about or I will receive more threats of being banned.

I’m down an average of like 20-30% every day since like 9/22. On views and what not. Probably way more on points. Boosts seemed to pick up after 10/1.
You receive threats and bans? That’s not coming from Bambu right?

same. 9/22 is where it dips down.
Okay so I’m not crazy and this is likely just a change in the website or something along those lines. Honestly my stats went up by 20-30% for a month or so and it seemed like something the site was doing and not just my models driving the traffic.
Those are very consistent numbers. Even on my best months it’s not that consistent.
Here is my overall from day one, end of January. The spikes correspond with releases.
I’m not sure if anyone else experienced virtually no stats for that day in mid July, but I don’t remember seeing any topic on the subject after scanning the forum.

Thanks for posting this! I was wondering if it was just me too! I was wondering if they tweaked something regarding the search because i’ve been down a bit since the beginning of September. Here’s my stats since the beginning of the year.
the site was down after a failed upgrade around July 22

they punished us… ok example. i am not going to play the fallout 4 game just to get a pic from the game just to put on the profile pic… so. i did what anyone else would do and avoid 30 or so minuets to snapshot one model from a different perspective just to satisfy the lords of the contest. i went to google and pulled one… didn’t mean i ripped off the model… hell i even took several pictures of me making the model on blender and one other program… but nope i got my 5 dl and 11 likes taken away. i appealed and they told me what i was just bitching about. so i re-uploaded it minus the pic… not a problem, just i lost out on the contest thats all…
I’ve noticed this recently, but didn’t want to embarrass anyone or cause any trouble. But it seems to me that there could be a connection with the many AI-generated models / images. Because they have above-average numbers of downloads (e.g.), but they are often terrible to print. However that comes about. But if that’s the trend at Makerworld, … well … I don’t want to say anything more about it.
I had 2 taken down without actual prints in the profile.
Well that’s what they told me but it looked more like whatever or whoever looked at it thought a print pic was a render. I can see that too, my fault for the way I took the pic. There was, actually, the wrong pic in the profile though, so in the end the reasoning was legit, even if there was only one profile and a pic of the printed item in the description. I lost 10 points which is a lot for me.
Now hear me out. I appealed and was told why, and told that if I fixed it I’d get my points back.
So I did. I simply downloaded the pic I had in the description and uploaded it with the old profile. That’s all they wanted. Took me 10 minutes, and part of that was getting coffee.
I complain about no pic. Those rules apply to me too. No pic in profile, accident or not, removal. Easy fix, and if you’ve done it on a lot of profiles then it’s not an accident.
There has been a rule since October of…well look yoursaelf, at the end of system announcements on your Makerworld account.
No one really read those right? Well then it’s our fault then. Sucks that the enforcement has been so bad, but hey it was there and now they are. Which is something we’ve been asking for too.
In the end I’m ok with 10 minutes.

I feel like there has been an influx for sure. Not sure if it is just because it is the start of the weekend, or if they changed something in the calculations, but I will take it!
