A few layers are printed with support material instead of PLA

Hello everyone
I have a problem with my X1C +AMS.

I am currently printing this “ancient candleholder” for my friend, who is a teacher.
Unfortunatelly a few layers are printed out of the support material (Support for PLA from BambuLab) instead of the PLA (BambuLab PLA Tough), even though this doesnt show in the slicer preview.

I also had the same problems with another Part, which was printed out of PLA Sparkle from BambuLab.

Can someone please explain, what is going on?

Thak you :+1:

Remove the PLA support from your AMS and it will generate support for your print using the same filament as for the print.

Hello drakko,

thank you for your quick response.
I want to use the support material, but only for the interface layers beneath the PLA part.
Insteat it is used for whole layers

Im not sure if this would cause the problem but did you lower the amount it purges when it changes filament?

This actually seemed to be the problem! I will try it tomorrow, because the print has a duration of about 20 hours.

Thank you very much!!
