A lot of stolen designs are being uploaded

Hey  i am new to this forum. I saw your profil on another thread and you mentioned your designs! I swear it has nothing to do with the stealing of the user hubiki, it was genuine interest. If you don’t trust me, that is ok, I mean it is the internet…

just found it weird but I have nothing to hide. its kenprint3d

It’s not even just about this model. It’s about the sole right of the author.

And as far as I know, he’s the only one who has the right to criticize - although I could also be wrong.

To assert the rights of others without even consulting them? As an author, do you now have to publish every agreement now with every person to every person?

When I’m asked (regarding my content which was not discussed here) I always say no. As long as I’m not asked, I turn a blind eye in silence. Way I can`t say yes, because then I lose track and can no longer attack those who overdo it.

And one thing is certain 100% clear: If you come as the author, you have to be damn sure that everything comes from you. Because if not, it will backfire badly. And how clean it is and whether something has blinked away, only the Author knows. And the authors then discuss this among from Author to Author if one can get the small peace of the other and certainly for sure not publicly to everyone.

Never saw that other model before.
And I don’t ever steal a design or a model. The few times I remixed something in the past I stated it clearly.
That Godzilla was made in not more than 3 hours starting from a sphere.
If you check also my Shimo, made also in a few hours, you can see all the steps in the description on the model.
So, as someone said before, let’s pay more attention to accuse people that actually sculpt and model their things, as I do.

Yes, exactly!

And if someone places an Uplodelink so clearly and leaves user access so open so everyone can get an account and uplode what ever he wants, it’s hopefully only a matter of time before they get the hit on there lid.

When this hit will come, it will by much much more powerful than a broken cable. And they will pay the lawyer of the claimer as well. Makerworld, nothing else than a Risk for a nice Printer - the X1C but this is just my personal point of view.

And everything between publishing the Uplode link so clearly in Bambulab Studio and getting hited on the lid is just a wast of time.

another one who stole a print profile. the images are also copied 1:1. the medel is from Miele and licensed.

The orginal one:

Did you report him? Yeah he stole this one too

If no one else is going to point it out, I will have today.

Today is WEDNESDAY and you found the Wednesday model on Wednesday!

If anyone thinks I’m losing my marbles, where were you all those years ago when it started?

Google lens, this website is a joke folks. :joy:

All websites where benefits are obtained “both monetary and discounts” must review the publications

The user only seems to upload other peoples work. Just like the Miele coffee clip.

I have reported about 15 of my designs published here without modification or remix, they notify me on Instagram or cults and those users always have several if you check their profiles.
For that reason I decided not to publish anything here apart from the boring designs I had on the PC.

Noticing the number of copy/paste models have grown more common and it seems acceptable to MW moderators. If they slip by the first week without being reported they are generally carry on undisturbed by the number of downloads I’ve seen on some. They even have the gall to do it as a remix and think its justified to copy verbatim.

I am not sure MW has any moderators, not any active ones that seek out issues at least, just ones that respond to user reports.

You’re right, “moderators” in this case are the ones that process the reports. The A1 must be working doubletime these days, but even that needs a tune up.

They rejected my Wednesday on Wednesday but still removed him.

Hello,I uploaded my model to my profile with the Standard digital license, which doesn’t allow any type of sharing, selling, or other uses. While browsing on Etsy, I found this profile selling my model with my own photos! Do you have any ideas on how to report this thief?

You didn’t provide any links or photos.

If someone is stealing your work and using Etsy, report them (you will need to create an account) and the models will be removed.
