A way to limit what colors can be used for infill?

So I can’t seem to find any way to black list what colors can be used for infill. This is an issue when most of the layer outside is a light color and there is a dark color in a small part, but the slicer uses that darker color for infill allowing for the color to be seen though the print it self. Is there a way to stop this?

For instance in this screen shot, the pink is white in the ending pick and the green and orange are used as infill in the print and both can be seen though the white. I am looking to basically limit the color per layer if possible.

Maybe you can use a modifier. You can change filament for modifiers at object view.

How do I do modifiers?
Edit: found it here. Seems to kind of do what I need.

So after testing, it does not seem to limit the infill color. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I think this would be a very important setting in order to reduce filament waste. Have you found any workarounds?
