- Detailed description of the problem : Failed sticking on the first few layers
- Printer model used : A1
- Slicer settings used : 0.08mm HQ @BBL A1 0.2 nozzle modified to add brim and support
- Type of filament used : Bambu PETG
- Photos that clearly show the problem
- .3mf file (if the file can be shared) The file
- Any potentially useful information that is related to the problem : First time I used the 0.2mm nozzle, used the glue stick.
I just don’t know what feature to change to insure a good print start.
The plate seems to have some residue on it, which could cause problems of the first layer.
It is recommended for you to wash the plate with warm water and detergent, to clean any debris from the plate.
Please follow this guide: Bambu Lab Textrued PEI Plate Cleaning Guide | Bambu Lab Wiki
It is also recommended to slightly lower the part cooling fan speed, if your printer is in a colder environment to avoid the possibility of the model warping.

As the support said clean you plate properly with detergent. And don’t touch the surface of the plate after cleaning. Also if you have the right bed and printing settings PETG normally does not require the use of glue stick on the textured PEI plate.
Hi.
It was cleaned properly before I put the glue. And I used the glue because previously on 0.4 noozle PETG prints I had worst adhesion (full brim and print unsticking)
If cleaning and glue doesn’t work, check your first layer height. Dropping the initial layer height has helped me with some prints.

So I should reduce it. By how much?
Just try “one size” down for initial layer. If you’re at .100, drop to .08.
doesn’t seem better, as it was laying the first layer, the head was peeling off part of itself as it was passing for the second pass
Current try at 1.2mm of initial height
Some pooling in corners hope it doesn’t affect later.
Well, I abandoned doing it in 0.2mm. too fussy for the gain, back to my previous setting on 0.4mm I know worked.
but mine didint stick the first layer and it ruened it all ive put a bit of liquid glue and no more problem
I have the same issue, but with esun pla basic, no matter what I try, my miniatures with the 0.2mm nozzle print fine up first, then just break off from the build plate, and I don’t know what to try.
From my experience since, what is your room temperature, try to be around 24C
Second slow way down your initial layers

Third, increase bed temperature to 65C even up to 70C
