Hi,
Curious for those who own both-
Speaking PLA only- Are there any notable differences in printing (PLA), single color, on an A1 or A1 mini vs an X1C?
I’ve been using a .02 nozzle with PLA alot lately on my X1C (for very small parts), and am wondering if an A1/mini would do this just the same?
Thanks!
I have an A1 Mini and X1C. I like the A1 Mini! And if you’re looking for an additional printer to pick up small parts, it’s a decent option.
When I’m designing, I usually print a version on both my X1C and A1 Mini, since I create profiles for both. I’d say that about 99% of the time it’s equal in terms of quality. On some trickier things, like weird overhangs, the A1 Mini doesn’t always do as nicely, but it’s not so common for issues like that to come up for me.

Just an update-
I finally picked up a pair of A1 minis last weekend.
My first thoughts- these are REALLY a good bang for the buck!
In some small ways, these seem better than my X1C. I’ve really enjoyed them so far. Of course- I can’t do fancy filaments on them, but 90+ % of the time I don’t need to. I plan to run .02 nozzles in them to do mini pla parts for most of their work.

You need about a hundred A1 minis to make the same noise of a single X1C.
I like very much my X1C, but I tend to use more and more the A1 mini.
