New A1 / A1 mini Firmware Available for Public Beta Testing!

We’re excited to announce that firmware V01.07.01.09 for the A1 Series is now available through our Public Beta Program.

How to Join the Beta
To access the beta firmware, simply join the Beta Firmware Program via the Bambu Handy app under Me → Beta Firmware Program.

Once enrolled, the update will be pushed to your device gradually.

You can leave the Beta Program at any time by disabling the option in the app and installing the latest official firmware version.

New Features

  • Added support for Traditional Chinese.

Feature Optimizations

  • Adjusted drying and cooling temperatures when using the second-generation AMS, optimizing the overall drying logic.
  • Fixed an issue where the AMS motor would not stop after spool tail-end purging.
  • Fixed an issue where stopping the filament load/unload operation from Bambu Handy did not take effect.
  • Security updates.
  • Motor noise cancellation now supports noise calibration for the Z-axis motor.
  • Fixed an issue where error prompts displayed unknown error codes when the system language was set to Portuguese.
  • Fixed an issue where the fan switch on the device did not respond.
  • Fixed an inconsistency issue where the AMS humidity level did not match the values shown in Bambu Handy and Bambu Studio.

Known Issues

  • When printing from a local SD card, nozzle diameter verification is temporarily not supported.
  • Devices running firmware version 01.06.00.00 or earlier cannot perform offline upgrades when connected to AMS, AMS 2 Pro, or AMS HT, and the upgrade will fail.

Cant skip objects when printing from the sd card / re printing .

The beta firmware is not available as an offline update.

Please use the online upgrade for it.

Have you noticed any changes in the Z-axis sound since the update? How does the new Z-axis motor noise compensation work?

It sounded a little louder to how it normally sounds, so it got my attention while going through the motions

Thanks for your reply. Did you perform a full calibration after the update? Did the loud noises persist after the calibration?

Where is the release note for this beta version ?

All I can find is the last official version release notes, as the one shown in the first post.

It is suggested to perform the complete calibration after the firmware installation, to ensure everything is ready.

The first post contains all the release notes for the Beta. The final version has not been released.

I am confused. On this page it states the same release note for version Veision 01.07.01.00（20251210). Is that version not released ??

So what is the difference between V01.07.01.00 and this beta V01.07.01.09 ?
