A1 bed undercarriage scraping

Hello,
Did any one had this issue where undercarriage plastic cover is sagging and scraping on base plastic grooves.
It makes really loud creaking noise and I can see plastic shavings.

Does the Y-axis cover have a high spot or is it not installed properly? Is it on the Y-axis cover or the main case? Do you have some sort of flat edge or something to troubleshoot with?

It seems just plastic cover sagging in front and mostly right side. I tried tightening screws on the bottom and it raised it by 1mm or so and it stopped creaking, but on next print after 1h it started creaking again. I thin when plastic heats it lowers a bit more and starts rubbing again.

I have the same issue. Have you solved it?

Have you submitted a ticket to support regarding this matter?. I just received an A1 and I am unaware of this occurrence.

They’ll be able to provide troubleshooting and you’ll know if it’s a secluded issue with previous manufactured models or not. Typically with my experience with support, they’ll either offer to replace part immediately if it happens to be a widespread issue or they’ll work with you to resolve the issue if possible before offering a replacement which means it’s contained. This is my opinion btw

same issue here. couldnt find what was scraping. i know if i left the back left of the top plastic cover raised a little it wouldnt do it. i tried tightening the Y axis belt, calibration etc but it didn’t see to help. its very mild right now, but maybe it gets worse?

I submitted a ticket and they send me a new cover. should arrive today. i had to take additional 2 pictures what i think are production or batch numbers engraved. they will investigate further.

I know this is an older thread, but I’m having the same problem. When the undercarriage of the A1 moves quickly, it drags along the bottom of the cover plate. It sounded like horrific gear skipping, but it wasn’t (belt is properly tensioned). Removing the cover plate eliminates the noise, and pressing down on the cover plate recreates the noise.

I see no way to adjust this as the tolerance between undercarraige scraping the bottom of the plate, and the top of the carriage hittong the top of the plate is very narrow.

Did the replacement plate solve the problem?
