A1 firmware:01.02.00.00

I guess they will address this in a future update. If not when enough people complain, then when people’s cards get full.

I have updated to the newest firmware, but I still get a black screen through Bambu Handy app. I have never seen video from the app except for the very first print I ever did.

Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed or inadvertently turned off maybe?

Have anyone tried this new 1.02 firmware with OrcaSlicer? Did the the LAN mode still working?

It works. The network plugin is that of Bambu, so there are no differences.

I don’t think so. Yesterday it was working for me and today it’s just black. In LAN mode is working fine, so it must be Bambu servers issue.

did you press the little play button on the bottom left?

LOL. Yeah I did. Just a black screen. Oh well, not like it was hi-res anyways.

I just updated the app and the feed is working again.

Let me continue with my bugs hunting

  • On printer UI when you click on “Edit” to change the filament type - it always shows you the first filament in the list not the current selected - “Generic ABS”
  • Oddly enough, there is no red color in the same menu. The color palette is odd.

In settings - camera there are 2 options:

  • video
  • timelapse fade on mode
does anyone know what these options do?

Probably a continuous video or the extruder is moving on a side on each layer and the camera takes a picture, so you can have a smooth timelapse with each layer building up. I don’t use any, so I’m just guessing.

if you plan to reuse your printer by any means and you are worried about issues with heatbed you can check power outputs going through circuit and monitor them during prints to make sure that none of the failures arise if you have the ability to would recommend throwing a power regulator between certain components to act as a surge protector throughout circuits which I’ve done a make shift surge protector while waiting for the bed replacement because I don’t want it to fault out and also I don’t wanna decommission the printer in the meantime because its been awhile without notice of release. Luckily mine isn’t horribly effected but the more precautions you can take the better you are in the long run until we get bed replacement.

also side note higher bed temps push you into more danger with damaging components so if you can would recommend avoiding it; tested it; watts and everything immediately because of temp variations and anything above 70 you might see higher watt variations which could lead to surge and failure so just be cautious when using if you do continue use
