I am sure the A1 hotend heating assemble can be reworked to fit into the P1 and X1 series if you compare the two open hotends the A1 hotend heating assemble can be reworked with a steel frame to integrate into the P1 and X1. I am sure if BL does this many of us will buy this as an upgrade and make use of the A1 hotends. This will reduce the damage possible caused to the plugs each time the hotend is removed for cleaning or being replaced. I have also had a case where the X1C hotend PCB shorted during a hotend cleanup resulting in the board having to be replaced.
