A1 Ironing Issue

Sorry if this is covered in another thread - I looked and couldn’t find anything that looked applicable.
I turned on ironing for a model with a several fairly large flat top surfaces to try to get a better looking object, as I was seeing quite a bit of the rectilinear detail of the top layer. Any idea of what is going on or what I could change to get better results. Everything is being done with the default Bambu filament profiles. There are 5 top shell layers, 10% Adaptive Cubic Infill and Painted Brim, and ironing turned on, but otherwise 0.2mm Standard Bambu profile.

Sometimes the default settings don’t work for certain filaments.
I like to use BL PLA Metal and the standard ironing settings give exactly the same effect in your image. You need to modify the ironing settings.
The unironed version looks like you’ve got some under-extrusion as well.

I use this profile to help decide what settings to use.

This is a pic of BL PLA Metal Iridium Gold that I printed with it. I ticked the ones that look best to the eye.

I also found that I got better results with line spacing set to the nozzle width (0.4mm). Left is standard default, right is 40mm/s speed, flow 30%, line spacing 0.4mm.
