I’ve read in other postings (related to X1) that LAN mode does not allow FW updates via Bambu Studio? (requires manually loading to SD etc…) Can anyone confirm on the A1? Trying to understand what I loose if going to LAN mode. Ideally, I still want BS to detect a FW update, and let me push it to my A1 via the network. Don’t see why this shouldn’t still work given BS still talks to the A1 via my local network? What am I missing? I just don’t care for my files bouncing to BS cloud, then back, and for what reason when they should go direct to the printer… Those milliseconds count! 
You don’t lose anything. You can switch whenever you want between Cloud and LAN mode. In LAN mode, you won’t get a new firmware notification and you also can’t update it because it will always show that you are using the latest one. Simply you can enable Cloud mode, update the firmware and switch back to LAN mode.
