A1 layer shift

Hello!
Recently, a significant layer shift started happening in my prints. I have been using an A1 printer for about 2 years. I have tightened my belts, and was regularly lubing the Y rail too.
Now I get these kind of shifts, it almost feels like a belt is slipping when traveling the Y axis.
I was getting a lot of debris from the Y belt throughout the 2 years of use. Did it finally wear off?
Please advise how this can be fixed, thanks!

I do not own an A1 but that residue does not look good. If the benchy layer shift matches the y-direction, it could very well be a root cause. A closer look at the y-belt may show more.

There’s an entry on the wiki regarding the y-belt replacement.

Indeed, it was a Y-belt issue. Replacing it fixed the layer shift.
