This is mainly using PETG-CF on the A1 Mini with the external spool (0.6 nozzle).
When the spool gets to it’s highest tension point where it has to make a stronger pull, filament stops extruding. If I push the filament through (while it’s still printing), filament starts extruding again.
PETG-CF feels quite slippery to the touch, so I wonder if the extruder simply can’t grip it to pull it through, especially when the roll is new and at its heaviest.
It’s not a clog, as I can stop printing, and simply load any filament manually and it comes through fine.
Pretty major problem as I have this specific printer as a dedicated CF printer and need to be able to use the external spool. Using the AMS doesn’t have this problem, but I’d prefer not to do this long-term.
Any possible solutions to this?
