I’ve had my a1 mini for just over 7 months now and I’m just having my first problems with it, I’m printing pre sliced files from MW but they keep coming out poorly. Do I need to replace my nozzle or something?
I fear we’ll need a bit more information.
In particular, what filament are you using, how long did you dry it at what temp, what calibrations did you do, was your last regular maintenance quite a while ago, do you frequently print abrasive filaments, did you have nozzle issues recently,…
For now, I’d recommend drying the filament and trying a slightly lower speed. But that may of course change depending on further information.
After examining the print a little more I saw that the the very edge had just barely starting to come off the build plate which must have transferred through the entire print. I hade tried to clean it with isopropyl alcohol but it didn’t work so I’ll stick to dawn dish soap
Definitely need more info, but unless you’re using filament that requires drying, you can ignore what the other bloke said about drying it.
If it’s regular PLA then it’s not something to worry about, Just give us some info on your slicer settings and maybe use one of my test prints for checking bed adhesion
I had this happen horrifically on MAX bone filament for whatever reason btw. I was trying to figure it out as well as it was an older roll about halfway in. Might just be icky filament like others suggested as well. I have mine vac sealed with deca to death so it might have just gone bad being a wacko type.
Have any pla+ or something laying around? try slicing the same model with the ESUN profile and some pla+. if it does the same around the edge them we can rule out a lot of things you know? Will give a clue further. (what i did to figure out it was my bone filament ha. my dino was perfect with alt pla+)
Also as soon as you see an edge come up that causes tons of issues, you are right to reach for your dawn haha.
EDIT: your other lines look really clean it’s a bit weird. yes… might just be filament here.
