Have I missed something…? From the printer only, choosing to use AMS I can edit the filament code and select a color; those colors however are limited (I cannot find grey) and with no additional means to custom add the color.
I thought you could define a color not in the default color pallet?
Id assume bambu studio , would be the goto place for setting a colour as it has a bigger palette , which would mean the printer only needs to show a small default colour palette, for the processor to process ,
Besides that bambu labs own filament sets it all for you via the rfid chip (qa)
