New to Bambu, with an A1 Mini. I plan on running in LAN only mode, after the firmware is updated. It is already connected to Wi-Fi. I would prefer to not install the Handy app.
Is it possible to update the firmware with the device connected to WiFi, but without using the Handy App?
Note: I’m on FW v1.02.00.00, and understand v1.04.00.00 allows firmware update via SD card.
I dunno if the A1 works the same was as the X1C, but I have the latter, and I never use the Handy app and the machine is always in LAN-only mode.
To do a firmware update, I disable LAN-only mode, log into the Bambu online account in Bambu Studio, do the update, and then log out of the account, re-enable LAN-only mode and that’s that.
I’ve done it all ways, from printer screen itself and from bambu handy app/bambu studio. It should work on wifi only through the printers screen (I think).
But I’ve already logged in on the app and bambu studio so not sure if that’s required.
