Just wanted to report back. I calibrated the mini again and now when I print it still does the normal noisy, vibrating test at the beginning before the print but the second one it was doing is gone. 
Also, seeing my machine is new I am running with the firmware it came with that is V1.02.00.00 and my A! has V so I better update that too. But before I do, is it always advisable to update the firmware or better to wait and see if it introduces more problems. (I have an MK4 so have been there). Also my A1 is running V1.02.00.07 and it’s new too.
