A1 mini, nozzle stuck, white powder and no booting with click

Weird problem I had on a 1 mini. I just finished a print and was set to start another when all of the sudden the printer turned off mid motion. I noticed a white powder residue and a slight tick coming from the printers motherboard hub. I flicked off and on the back and tick continues. Turned off and analyzed the nozzle.

Noticed the powder and slight warping on the fan. There must have been some weird hot spike. Tried to take off nozzle but it was seriously welded on. The hinges were hard at turning and nozzle would not budge. Tried to open up cutter opening on top of nozzle and nothing seems to be interfering. Still not turning on and nozzle stuck. Decided to use a small screwdriver to pry it off but still did not budge. Didn’t want to damage anything and took off fan, cover plate and still was not able to pry off. After 2 hours had to order a new hot component from bambu. But didn’t know how to remove it without taking off nozzle. Set aside for some research online and had to wait to be able to create a forum here. 10 hrs later the next day I am able to turn machine back on no more ticking. Heated up nozzle and was able to take it off. Now the hinges and metal deformed where I cant seat nozzle in place to be flush. Waiting on new hot end to replace it. I still don’t know what happened and white powder as well as the printer making the tick sound.

i think i found the issue regarding the tick sound. There is a wire that looked exposed and causing a short. removing the fan cause it fall back in place but reattaching fan caused it to turn off again. I don’t know the powder or why it was stuck. I’m guessing the powder was plastic and powder was some residue from the extruder gear. Cuased a heat build up behind the nozzle and heating element. New heating element would still fix it i hope. will wait for part for repairs.

When you get your new parts, print and attach a fan filter shroud. Look at that thing! You’ve got half a cat’s worth of hair stuck in it. How many print hours is this printer?

I did have a shroud. It’s got like 500 hours and never cleaned it. I did clean it when I fixed it
