My A1 Mini purges/flushes/poops out of the nozzle before EVERY print (I don’t have an AMS), regardless of whether I enable flow calibration and bed leveling or not. This process takes an incredible amount of time, especially on small prints that only take around 10 minutes. Is there any way to disable the flushing and possibly the frequency calibration? I found an edited G-code for the P1P, but the G-code for the A1 Mini seems different, and I’m unsure which part of the A1 Mini’s G-code is responsible for the excessive flushing.
Not sure if you can turn off the poop, since it assumes you are changing the filament each time and wants to flush out the old filament from the extruder. Perhaps if you tell it to use the external spool instead of the AMS it won’t try to poop, but it’s always a good idea just to clean out the extruder anyway.
You can turn off flow calibration and bed levelling each time, when you start a print it asks if you want to do those or not.

I am also experiencing this issue. I get 2 separate purges before every print job.
This is a recurring problem since the last update. Reverting to the previous firmware version does not resolve this. It must be stored in the rom. Only thing i didn’t do was a reset but i will try it tomorrow.
It does almost 3 minutes of purging, to the point where the purge extends up to the nozzle. It’s too much and must be corrected.
This happens only in the A1 mini only. The A1 does not have that problem with the most recent firmware.
Same here since the last update, purging between 3 and 11 (!) minutes before every print, I’ve simply stopped using my mini, which is annoying as I was using it for prototyping
Seems to be related to a sensor somewhere because PLA will purge for a few minutes, softer materials will purge a bit longer and finally TPU will purge forever (? I stopped timing!) and the print will never start
Whatever is wrong it’s a bit dangerous, if left unattended with the purge tray connected it’ll engulf the nozzle, hotend and finally the toolhead if not cleared manually every ~60 seconds because the flicking of the tool head to clear the tray isn’t happening reliably during this process either
Not happening on the A1 or X1C (latest firmware)
As mentioned before, i tried a factory reset with the same firmware. It still does the “infinite” purge. Updated to the latest firmware, factory reset again, calibration done and… still does the same.
Reverting firmware versions does nothing. It’s a complete waste of material since i can confirm that the purge takes 3 to 6 minutes until it’s finished, and this is with Bambu Basic PLA.
@MakerWorld @BambuLab @SupportAssistant When will this issue be fixed? We are talking about much material for a simple purge. And it’s also dangerous because many times the nozzle gets covered in the purge material because there is no space for the material to go.
Sadly the A1 is affected too I received mine this feb 6th and it has the same issue it’s so wasetful and long if any of you resolved this issue please help
