Here is an idea, a single spool AMS lite that fixes to the side of the A1, so you get the advantages of the AMS auto load / unload for people who only want to use a single colour

It would be nice if the external spool had the RF ID reader.

I know it’s not what you want to hear, but if you use the regular aAMS Lite, you can still use a single color, with the added advantage that if a spool runs out, you have the other three picking up the slack, giving you plenty of time to replenish the emptied ones

Will the upcoming AMS HT be usable simultaneously with the normal external spool?
Currently, I don’t have an AMS system for my A1 Mini, but being able to use two colors at the same time would be enough for me. In that case, I wouldn’t buy the AMS Lite, but rather wait for the release of the HT.

I think in that case it would necessitate using 2 ams ht, since the external spool cannot push the filament on its own.
