When you want to start a PLA print on a A1 mini, how long does it take when you send the job before it actually starts extruding filament?
Basically the preparation time with heating, bed levelling, etc.
When I want to do small quick prints on the H2D it just takes forever until it actually starts and this can take between 8 and 15 minutes roughly so I’m considering something faster for smaller prints.
about 4 minutes (with leveling) on my A1 mini and about 6 minutes on my P1.
Are you doing bed leveling on H2D. Larger the bed the longer it will take.
If i recall correctly, whatever bambu calls the calibration that offsets the multiple H2D/C nozzles takes a LONG amount of time as well, and if using only a single filament, definitely can be safely skipped.
My experience is that the A1[not mini] on 120V AC realistically needs about 3mins after the heater starts up for the bed to be acceptable to print on with a target of 60C. 5-6mins if using 90-100C temps. If you let all the default calibrations do their thing, its about 4-5 mins for PLA/60C.
