Hi,
I maybe blind but where do I find the access code of the A1 mini? On my P1P it is easy to find in the settings menu.
In the menu for LAN mode is available
Yes, found it. Thank you!
Also looking for the Access Code on my A1 Mini. Looked in the Lan menu but it only shows the IP address and MAC address. The Access Code is not shown. The only option there is to forget that network so I’m wondering if the only way to get the Access Code is to remove then re-connect to the WiFi network.
Anyone solved this? My A1 mini printer only shows a QR code to connect with the phone app. There is no pin to allow connection from the Windows app
Solved! First connect to the printer with the phone app “Bambu Handy” using the QR code. Then login to Bambu Studio on your PC using the same user credentials you used in the phone app.
Very odd, I found mine under LAN only mode, however, it is 7 digits and I only have 6 slots to enter it in BS.
OK so I figured it out, it is very strange though.
GO into Lan Only and enable it, then disable it. exit the menu and go back into the account,. You will now see a six-letter PIN code vs a seven-digit pin. However, if the printer is connected to someone else’s account, it will disconnect from your account. stinks because this would be a nice way to help someone troubleshoot.
I had the same issue and was unable to find the PIN code to connect from desktop.
In the end I took picture of the QR code sent it to my computer opened it on a large dispay and scaned it from there and it worked instantly.
I think part of the difficulty is that Studio initially shows only the PIN code method to bind:
If you hover on the printer name, another icon with an arrow appears.
Click that icon to enter the LAN access code for the printer.
This worked! Thank you!!! I spent so much time trying to figure this out and Bambu support was not helpful.
This dosen’t seem to work anymore, I’ve tried turning it LAN mode on and off many times in different configurations, but I couldn’t find a PIN in account… Thoughts?
The documentation is not up to date as I am using both the latest versions for both the A1 firmware and bambu studio and the menus on the A1 don’t show the binding pin. I finally got my A1 binded by first adding it through the bambu handy app and then login into bambu studio on the by pressing the home icon and entering login details.
On the printer go to LAN mode and it should be there. You may have to turn it on and off to get a code.
I too have been having difficulties finding the printer PIN. I wanted to do a factory reset and lost the connection. I did the QR code thing but by the time I got the Bambu Studio setup to request the PIN, it disappeared from the printer screen. I decided to log off the printer and start over since I had figured out the new printer number, I could get a PIN after the QR code scan, but, to my surprise, the PIN showed up and the printer ask if I really wanted to log out. I went back to BL Studio and punched the code into the awaiting little circles and BAM, Studio said I was paired with my printer. Not sure why all the secrecy around the ability to retrieve the PIN. I should make notes, I am sure this will happen again. By the way, I really like my A1.
Thank you,
This was causing me a little bit of a headache, and the “can’t find code” “helpemphasised text*” skips right over the part you actually need! LOL
Thanks again!
Go into Settings and then click on your Account. The QR code will appear and allow you time to bind to your printer through your mobile app
thats how I did it too… however if you ever connected to Bambu labs on the PC/Mac, then its the last line of the config file thats accessable via the help menu… it has your printer serial and access code in the Bambu labs config file… but once you get that take a snap shot of it. BL will show any printer that connected to its access code. I had to log out and in to get it after using handy… and again after I added my P1s to my mini profile.
