So I just fired up the A1 and it announced that there where a new firmware available, the 01.02.01.00
I installed it, but what is new?

Yes, it’s not there yet.
But I found this:
“optimized the heatbed temperature threshold to reduce false alarms”
So I guess it’s a very smal update, if that is all.
Sadly the firmware release notes often lags behind that actual releases.

Have tried pressing the-> arrow at the bottom of the view screen? It is a lagged time lapse view not continuous.
For me, two things are noticeable about the new firmware. 1) If you are only printing a small part, then bed leveling is only done in that area where the part will be printed rather than the whole bed every print. 2) Purge wiping while using a 0.2 nozzle occurs way more often, eliminating the need to babysit the printer during multi-colour prints.
