Hi all im currently building a spares inventory for my A1 and was looking to get the extruder and XYZ motors spares but on bambu labs spares for the A1 only the extruder motor is available.
The XYZ motors are listed as for the A1 mini or are they the same motors for both printers ?
i did a google search but that said the A1 mini motors are not the same as they don’t have the required torque to move the A1 bed and X Z axis.
Can anyone point me to wear i can find the correct motors please
it would be interesting to see if is actually the same motor everywhere, I can see all the motors have different prices Bambu Lab X Motor - 3DJake Norwegen but I wonder if they are really different or it is the physical setup (on the printer) that makes the “torque” specs and precision
yeah i spotted that 3djake listing they charge a lot more than bambu i just find it odd that there numerous compatible parts between the A1 and A1mini yet not the xyz motors
I question I would ask, has anyone had to replace a motor on the A1/mini yet. If any A1 users had to, please speak up here. Thanks.
That’s a good point i would be interested to know i have OCD so get obsessive about stuff ive been collecting spares like hotend socks ptfe tube spare belts etc just had an issue with clumping around hot end in effect to clean i damaged a thermistor wire so had to get a new meaning 3 days no printing ive ordered 2 more spares now plus other bits etc hate the idea of not being prepared
I agree with you, Giddykippa. When I bought my A1, just before T’s Tariffs, I didn’t know BL had a US store, thought i had to buy from China, so I bought a whole bunch of spare parts and even thought I have only used a few of them so far, I rest easy if there is a problem. There was only one time that I had to wait for a part I didn’t have and was out of commission for a week. But it has been good sailing for now.
i must admit ordering from bambu labs uk is excellent they really are fast i usually get what ive ordered within 3 days which is really quick
