New A1 Series Firmware Available for Public Beta Testing!

We’re excited to announce that firmware V01.08.00.12 for the A1 Series is now available through our Public Beta Program.

How to Join the Beta
To access the beta firmware, simply join the Beta Firmware Program via the Bambu Handy app under Me → Beta Firmware Program.

Once enrolled, the update will be pushed to your device gradually.

:arrows_counterclockwise: Want to Switch Back?
You can leave the Beta Program at any time by disabling the option in the app and installing the latest official firmware version.

New Features

  • Language Support: Added support for Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.

  • Filament Presets: Added a new preset for PLA Pure filament.

Feature Optimizations

  • Security Enhancements: Included necessary security updates.

  • Chamber Light : Fixed an intermittent flickering issue with chamber light.

  • External Spool Printing: Fixed an issue where the feed and retract process for external filament would malfunction during a print pause.

  • Flow Dynamics Calibration : Fixed an intermittent undefined during the Flow Dynamics Calibration process in print jobs.

A new type of Bambu PLA at the moment is only available for the Chinese market. But it looks like they are now preparing a wider launch.

Pure PLA has passed three international safety standards:

  • International UL GREENGUARD Green Guard Certification
  • EU No. 10/2011 Regulatory standards
  • EN 71-3 Technical testing standards in the EU Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC

These three certification standards correspond to indoor air quality, food contact safety, and children’s toy contact safety during 3D printing.
