Hey guys, whenever I try printing anything print quality is great however, as soon as model needs supports, structure and surface quality goes down the drain where supports touch the model. Also, it seems supports either break off or are pushed away? torn away? by the nozzle during print.
I am using A1, everything default except quality - extra fine. Bambu PLA, stock nozzle, extra fine preset. Adding photos of surface that doesnt have contact with supports and surfaces touched by supports.
You can use PVA for the supports, you should remove the gap from the slicer for it to be good!
change the Zdistance to 0
Typically tree supports come out better. Ive used them a ton on the a1 and have no issues are just as easy to remove as they are on the p1p.I use the Slim tree supports with .2 air gap. The only time i have had issue with them is when printing at a .6 nozzle. Give it a try
Iām having same issue. Did you solve it? Once I tried to put Z distance to zero but it was hard to remove the support later
This is not possible without a support filament like PVA which will allow a Z distance of 0 and make it easy to remove.
No unfortunately, my current solution is to cut model into parts and reposition for less supports/overhangs when printing. And avoid tree supports which rarely work for me with larger prints.
I had a similar issue with standard supports. switching to tree supports helped a lot.
