Hi there,
it’s not important, but I’m curious. There is one screw at the print head of the A1 with a triangle head (not triwing). Normally, this is used for security reasons. But no-one found out, what it’s for. I found 2 Reddit-Threads about it but with no conclusion. Would be great to learn about it.

the fact that there is a spring behind it narrows down its function but even without knowing what its for it’d mean its removal would probably be a d*ck and a half to put back on if messed around with.

no; i don’t know. however if you don’t want to hunt for clues and make suppositions based on the available evidence – particularly because of how nobody else having any idea on what it may be according to your first post – then why are you even asking in a thread instead of just contacting bambu directly?

I have a triangular bit I would send you so you can take it apart and see what it does

Is it a different variation of the one that provides the counter-force to the cutting action?
In other words resets the cutter blade when the head moves to the far right to perform the cut. If so it leads through a screw with a small metal cap piece at the far end that MUST be in place to ensure even, consistent pressure and operation.
Also, if it serves this function that I believe yours to be too loose. If you expose the mechanism and manually and repeatedly operate as you adjust the screw you [seem] to find a fair-sized “sweet” area where everything just looks and feels right as you operate by hand.
Should have looked before writing. Yes, that IS the screw that adjusts the return force of the cutting mechanism. I happened to have a driver to fit so didn’t recall it being different.
Regarding the adjustment: I just examined mine an it appears to be in a nearly identical position. That said I am also nearly positive that I tightened it somewhat during the initial assembly and setup of my second machine after loose screws literally destroyed my first.
Get an appropriate driver bit (hacks are possible as it’s easy to turn), observe mechanism observation, make adjustment if necessary and then keep an eye on it to see if it changes during ordinary use.
I’ve printed more than 6 kg of filament perfectly with the replacement after tightening every screw I could find and near complete disassembly of the print head to tighten all of the loose screws found inside of BOTH printers but purchased at least seven months apart.

This is NOT the screw used to set the return force of the cutting action!!! Please excuse the error. For some reason however I seem to recall an unusual head somewhere actually inside the printhead–perhaps a brain fart.
I have NOT turned that screw on mine and it appears to be in nearly the exact same position.
Something tells me it will be mentioned in the X-axis belt replacement instructions.
