A1 vs X1C Poop Size

OK, odd question and I’m not going to do anything about it but why is X1C poop much larger than A1 at print start?

I returned recalled A1 and bought X1C. I see the superior print quality in the X1C but noticed that the poop is loooong compared to the A1. X1C poop flush at print start is about 25mm-30mm. I never measured the A1 poop but from memory, about 10mm-15mm.

longer nozzle or print head? The difference, in my opinion, ain’t that much as both poop quite a bit when changing filaments/colors…That can be reduced to some reasonable level by using the tower and in-print purging. There are quite a few tutorials out there showing how to do it properly, and even some g-codes shared on makerworld.com. Have a look at them and see if it works for you.

I have noticed the same size difference (2X looks like) between an OLDER A1mini and a new A1 mini. This POOP doesnt make sense,. why are we purging and wasting so much?? It can get EXACT same results with 75% less. you instantly see it while printing. The change in filament color is quick, yet we keep purging for another GRAM?? Why?? Because Bambu also sells us filament??
