A1 with ams not switching filament

Hi folks, my Ams lite is not switching colers on the painted parts .I am fairly sure I have done everything right in Bambu slicer .it will stop printing and go to the side and print the box I guess that cleans the color out of the nozzle for the switch and next color but printer 1 just continues.
Thanks for any help on this issue?

Is there any error message?

So it goes to the side, and does it stay there? Does the printer stop, pause or freeze? What happens to the temperatures at that instant? Constant or drop? Or go there and after that continue with the same filament?

Can you share the sliced file or at least some print screens?

Printer works fine goes to the purge block .

Prints just one color does everything except switch to color two

Just using the Sd card no internet service to send files to printer?

Will get photo of the screen

So it does not show the ams light up . Only can click to 1 or 2 they won’t both stay on and show no color

I think I have it right in the slicer ? Don’t know what I am doing wrong

Please remember the first tip I shared yesterday.

  1. If you are adding multiple updates, edit the most recent one and add everything to that one.
  2. Also remember to crop your photos before uploading them. You are giving away extra information like several photos of buildings.

Adding multiple posts makes things harder to see and harder to reply to.

You haven’t provided many details to help us diagnose your problem.

  1. Is your AMS lite plugged into the printer?
  2. Are there any lights on the AMS?
  3. Are you using Bambu filaments or different manufacturers?
  4. If not Bambu filaments, have you told the AMS lite which filaments are installed on which slot?
  5. What choices do you see when you display the print dialogue?
  6. Have you enabled the AMS in the print dialogue?
  7. Did the dialogue automatically select the two different colours that match what you have on the AMS?

Troubleshooting

  • If the ā€œEnable AMSā€ option is not selectable, there is a problem with the AMS lite connection.
  • If the ā€œEnable AMSā€ option is available and not ticked, you will only ever print one colour even if your model has multiple colours.
  • If you do not see One colour box for each colour your model has, there is a problem with the AMS lite not knowing about your filament choices.
  • If you see one colour box for each colour you. set for the model, are they set to the same colours your model has? Or at least two different colours?
  • If the colour choices are there, but, the wrong colours, tap each one to change the colour from the choices you have available on the AMS lite.

Lot to take in ,

Will try and reply correctly and crop the photos new in forums so I have to get better at
Thanks again

The print dialogue appears when you press ā€œPrint Plateā€.

If you use ā€œSend to SD Cardā€, you can ignore the Print Dialog parts.

This is what comes up when I select print plate

I export gcode since I am not hooked up on the internet

PLEASE STOP ADDING MULTIPLE POSTS.

If you are adding comments, edit the most recent entry and add your thoughts there.

Your last post has a screenshot that tells you the problem.

No AMS filaments. Please select a printer in ā€˜Device’ page to load AMS info.

As you are using a SD Card, the slicer doesn’t know what filaments you have loaded in your AMS lite or which slots each are assigned.

You must select the printer on the left side of the device tab and then assign your filaments in the AMS lite on the right side.

Got it straightened out had to connect to the WiFi. I belive there is not a way to activate the and with out syncing to WiFi

You said you had no internet?

I just did not want to connect WiFi to my lap top with all of my cad program s. I had to to sync my printers . I logged off of my printer and my computer looks like it is synced with out WiFi now. I believe now and will work just from the as card for multiple filaments

I am having the same issue and found out it happens only when I use the SD card. It works when using WIFI. Trying to figure it out.
