A1 Y-axis travel anomaly and impact issue

Every time I try to start a print, the printer gets stuck in a loop. Specifically, the Y-axis moves to the extreme ends of its travel and hits the frame violently, producing a loud, metallic grinding/clacking noise (as shown in the attached videos). It seems like the printer is unable to detect the endstops/homing position properly on the Y-axis.
I have carefully followed all the troubleshooting steps provided: I loosened the rear Y-axis tensioner screw, moved the heatbed back and forth a few times to align the belt, and then retightened the screw to apply the correct tension via the internal spring mechanism. I formatted the MicroSD card. I performed a full Factory Reset on the printer. I ran the complete initial calibration Unfortunately, the issue persists. The Y-axis still experiences travel anomalies, causing the bed to impact the frame and make an abnormal noise at the end of its travel.

I’m having the same issue, but at the end of the printing, always loosing the object. Have you found the solution? My A1 is new, and I made all the steps you’ve mentioned too… :sob:

Try to change z hop if it spiral or auto - bed hits and shift layers

What happens next? Does the printer print at all? I think you followed the instructions for tensioning the Y-belt incorrectly.
